Stay Connected, Stay Efficient with UIDMS Mobile App!
During my final year project, I ventured into the realm of mobile application development for the very first time. The process proved to be both enjoyable and rewarding. This mobile application offers an array of functionalities, including the ability to retrieve company details by simply scanning a QR code. Additionally, the app allows users to track staff locations and activities, providing valuable insights into their tasks. Through this project, I not only gained hands-on experience in mobile app development but also discovered the satisfaction of creating a practical and user-friendly solution.
Prior to commencing this project, I dedicated time to designing a comprehensive wireframe for the mobile application. This process allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of its flow and functionality.
To ensure secure access, the app requires users to log in as administrators of the corresponding website. By implementing this login requirement, the app grants administrators exclusive access to view the locations of all staff members. This feature provides administrators with valuable insights and enhances their ability to effectively manage and monitor staff activities.
Within the home page of the app, administrators are provided with the option to select a specific staff member whose details they wish to view. Upon selecting a staff member, the staff detail page is displayed, presenting relevant information such as the staff’s name, ID, login and logout times, session duration, and the current page accessed by the staff.
By incorporating a QR code scanning feature within the UIDMS system, users can conveniently access company details directly through the mobile application. With a simple scan of the QR code, the app instantly retrieves and displays the relevant information about the company. This streamlined process eliminates the need for manual data entry or searching for company details, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for users. Whether it’s accessing contact information, product details, or other relevant company information, the QR code scanning functionality simplifies the retrieval process and enhances the overall user experience.
I had learnt alot on mobile app development skills and knowledges when develop this app and it is a huge suprise and interesting when doing this app. I hope that i can learn more in the future and also on how to create a ios app too.
